In 2023 the company marks its 75th anniversary, but Dr. Bronner was not the first soapmaker in his family—he was the third. Meet all five, starting in 1858.
Dr. Bronner wrote the label first, before there was a soap on which to put it. It is a deeply personal message, a life’s mission from my grandfather. It’s what started the whole company now known as Dr. Bronner’s.
