Introduction
This Privacy Policy discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for information collected through Going Green with Lisa Bronner’s mail, email, or text messages, and all related domains, subdomains, and or/or any content contained within them (the “Site”) (collectively, the “Services”). Going Green with Lisa Bronner believes in protecting your privacy (“You” or “you”). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe the kinds of information that we may gather about you, how we may use that information, how we protect it, when we may disclose it, and the choices you have regarding your information.
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use or interact with our Services. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in the current version of this Privacy Policy. If you have read this Privacy Policy previously, please review it again to be sure you are familiar with its present terms. The date of the most recent update is listed at the beginning of this document.
Our processing of personal information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number, will be undertaken consistent with the requirements of applicable privacy laws.
If you have any questions or concerns about the privacy or security of your information, you may contact us using the contact information provided herein or on our Contact page.
Automatic Collection and Use of Information
We may automatically collect identifiable information, such as Internet Protocol (“IP”), pages viewed, computer type, screen resolution, operating system version, Internet browser type and version, through cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and other technologies, and other data (“Automatically Collected Information”).
Session Analytics Information. We may automatically collect information about your hardware devices (i.e., your computer or mobile device) when you access the Site. For example, we may collect your IP address, which is the number automatically assigned to your computer or mobile device whenever you access the Internet, as well as information about the type of Web browser software you use and the referring Website, if any. Your IP address does not typically identify your name or email address. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our service and to administer the Site. We may also collect information about your activity on the Site, such as the time and duration of your visit, the sections of the Site that you visit, the search terms you use.
Cookies. We will indirectly collect information from you, including internet or other similar network activity information obtained from your use of this site. This site uses cookies and/or web beacons to obtain information about your web browsing and pages you view on your computer. We also log the information generated in the course of using our site, such as mouse movements, clicks, text entered, how long you spent on a page, where you moved on the page, and other details of your actions on our site through cookies and session replay technologies. This information may be shared with third parties to analyze the data collected on our behalf. These cookies are managed by Company and other service providers to inform, optimize, and publish ads based on your prior visits to this website. The techniques that we use for the collection of data do not include use of your name, email address, mail address or phone number. You may choose to deactivate cookies through your web browser.
Persistent Identifiers. We automatically collect information through the use of “cookies.” A cookie is an alphanumeric file that a Website puts on your hard drive or mobile device so that it can remember something about you while you are using the Website or when you return to the Website. The Site may use a “unique device identifier” (or “UDID”) in order to remember your device each time you use it. We also automatically collect information through the use of “web beacons.”
Cookies may remain on your hard drive or device after you cease using the Site. There are different types of cookies in use in our Services.
o Absolutely Necessary Cookies. These Cookies are essential to enable you to move around a website and use its features. Without these Cookies, certain services you have asked for cannot be provided.
o Performance Cookies. These Cookies collect information about how you use the Services. Information collected includes, the Internet browsers and operating systems used, the domain name of the website previously visited, the number of visits, average duration of visit, and pages viewed. These Cookies do not collect information that personally identifies you and only collect aggregated and anonymous information. Performance Cookies are used to improve the user-friendliness of a website and enhance your experience.
o Functionality Cookies. These Cookies allow the Services to remember choices you make (such as your username, language preference, or the area or region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. These Cookies can also be used to remember changes you have made to text size, fonts, and other customizable parts of the Services. The information these Cookies collect may be anonymized, and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
o Web Beacons: “WebBeacons” (a.k.a. clear GIFs or pixel tags) are tiny graphic image files embedded in a web page or email that may be used to collect information about the use of the Services. The information collected by Web Beacons allows us to analyze how many people are using the Services, using selected publishers’ websites, or opening emails, and for what purpose. We and our service providers and business partners may collect this information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites when you use our Sites. These technologies make it easier for you to use the Site. We use them in order to retain the contents in your shopping cart while you are checking out other areas of the Site and to provide you with relevant advertisements.
o Mobile Device Identifiers: As with other Tracking Tools, mobile device identifiers help us learn more about our users’ demographics and Internet behaviors in order to personalize and improve the Services. Mobile device identifiers are data stored on mobile devices that may track activities occurring on and through it, as well as the applications installed on it. Mobile device identifiers enable collection of personal information (such as media access control, address, and location) and Traffic Data. Use of Automatically Collected Information.
The information collected by automated means for our business purposes may include:
- Details about the devices that are used to access our Site (such as the IP address, and type of operating system and web browser)
- Dates and times of visits to, and use of, our Site
- Information about how our Site is used (such as the content that is viewed on our Site, how users navigate between webpages, and the date and time of access)
- Details about how individuals interact with our emails (such as whether the email is opened and which links are clicked in the email)
- URLs that refer visitors to our Sites
- Search terms used to reach our Site
- Targeted behavioral advertising
Site Analytics. We may work with third-party service providers, such as Klaviyo and Log Rocket, who use the technologies described in this section to conduct website analytics to help us track and understand how visitors use our Site.
Behavioral Advertising
We may use a type of advertising commonly known as interest-based or online behavioral advertising. This means that some of our partners use Automatically Collected Information to collect information about a user’s online activities to display our ads to the user based on the user’s interests (“Behavioral Advertising”). Our partners may include third-party advertisers and other third-party service providers, and such partners may collect information when you use the Services, such as IP address, mobile device ID, operating system, and demographic information. These Automatically Collected Information tools help us learn more about our users’ demographics and Internet behaviors.
Options for Opting out of Cookies and Mobile Device Identifiers
If we process cookies based on your consent (as indicated at the time of collection of such data), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any point in time by contacting us at goinggreen@drbronner.com. Please note that if you exercise this right, you may have to provide your consent on a case-by-case basis to enable you to utilize some or all of the Services.
You may be able to reject cookies and/or mobile device identifiers by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. Although you are not required to accept our cookies or mobile device identifiers, if you block or reject them, you may not have access to all features available through the Services.
- You may opt out of receiving certain cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt out page, or by installing the DAA’sAppChoices app (for iOS; for Android) on your mobile device. When you use these opt-out features, an “opt-out” cookie will be placed on your device indicating that you do not want to receive interest-based advertising from NAI or DAA member companies. If you delete cookies on your device, you may need to opt out again. For information about how to opt out of interest-based advertising on mobile devices, please visit https://thenai.org/opt-out/mobile-opt-out/. You will need to opt out of each browser and device for which you desire to apply these opt-out features.
- Even after opting out of Behavioral Advertising, you may still see our advertisements that are not interest-based (i.e., not targeted toward you). Also, opting out does not mean that we are no longer using cookies and other tools. We still may collect information about your use of the Services even after you have opted out of Behavioral Advertising and may still serve advertisements to you via the Services based on information it collects through the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies and other tracking tools by any third parties, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. Please be aware that some third-party cookies can continue to track your activities online even after you have left the Services.
“Do Not Track” (DNT) and Universal Opt-Out Preference Signals
Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or similar feature that signals to web services that a visitor does not want to have their online activity and behavior tracked. If a web service operator elects to respond to a particular DNT signal, the web service operator may refrain from collecting certain personal information about the browser’s user. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus as to what constitutes a DNT signal. For these reasons, many web service operators, including Going Green with Lisa Bronner, do not proactively respond to DNT signals. For more information about DNT signals, visit http://allaboutdnt.com.
New standards are being developed for a Universal Opt-Out Mechanism, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), which allow users with GPC-enabled browsers and devices to send a signal that will communicate the user’s request to opt-out of sales of their personal information and to opt-out of certain sharing of their personal information. The CPRA and other laws allow for the acceptance of Opt-Out Preference Signals such as the GPC, as an option for users to transmit an Opt-Out of selling/sharing personal information. If we detect and recognize such a signal from your device or browser, we will honor it.

If you choose to contact us for any purpose, we will collect your contact details, your name, and the content, date and time of your message, as well as our reply and any follow-up action we take in relation to your inquiry.

The information we may receive from third parties is governed by the privacy settings, policies, and/or procedures of the relevant social media platform or third party we receive the information from, and we encourage you to review them.
You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Site, or transmitted to other users of the Site or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
